Worship Services
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come
before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his
people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his
courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
Psalm 100:2-4

A Note from the Pastors
Concerning Holy Communion
All who are confirmed members of Redeemer Lutheran Church or are a confirmed
member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod Parish are welcome and encouraged
to take communion. If you are not confirmed, you may come to the altar and
receive a blessing. To do so, simply cross your hands over your heart as you
kneel with the others at the altar rail. We ask the non-confirmed to refrain
from taking communion. We do this, not to exclude anyone,
nor to judge ones Christian faith. But we do this in an effort to be faithful to God’s
word which says, “ But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the
bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drink in an unworthy manner eats
and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” ( I Corinthians
11:28-29) For this reason, the Christian Church has since it's beginning
only communed the confirmed. They did this so that people would receive
communion to their benefit. This process is called “confirmation.”
